Completed Housing Structural Warranty
This is the Build-Zone 10 Year Structural Warranty for Completed Houses that can be purchased on a property that has been completed within the last six years. The property must have a Local Authority or Approved Inspector Completion Certificate. Typically this is purchased where the property is for sale and banks or building societies are refusing to lend as there was no Architect's Certificate or 10 year Warranty issued at the point of completion.

Self-Build Structural Warranty
If you are building or managing the construction of a new house or conversion, the Build-Zone 10 Year Structural Warranty for Self-Builds is essential. It is for use by individuals building a residential unit which is going to be occupied as a home or maintained in the self-builders ownership for at least 12 months. Building Control can be incorporated into the technical audit process which can provide substantial savings in fees. Remember, you do not have to use your Local Authority for Building Control.
